When words matter so intensely to your self identity, yet are so fleeting, how do you cope with their invisibility and danger during a pandemic as your limbic system recovers from trauma? After my brain surgery, I was 39.
Life was re-set to only understanding the world – plants, flora, fauna, and all – as either friend or foe. I will never be able to stress how simple we are at the core of our survival mechanisms.
